The recipe for so called “Prangesuppe” (PS) is about 30 years old. It was carried out from human onion syrup, which is one of the well-tried cough mixtures. On the question, if the Prangesuppe increase the performance of the pigeons or reduce the infections impact, etc. Each pigeon fancier should find the answer on himself; nevertheless we are more than convinced in positive effect of the PS on our pigeons.
- 1kg red onion
- 2 garlic bulb
- 0,3 kg carrots
- 1,5 l water
This should hoe up and brought to boil. After approx. 10 min od real boiling, should water be sieved and with 1,5 kg of candy-brown sugar as also with 100g of alum powder compound and again slowly boiled up. Then it should be taken from the furnace. As the brew cooled down, add iodine (30ml) and approx. 150ml of elder-juice.
